Brandy Aguilar
Assistant General Manager – Outlet Front of House LeadershipWith over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Brandy brings deep-rooted passion, leadership, and unmistakable Southern charm to every aspect of restaurant operations. A proud Southern belle from Appalachia, Virginia, she always dreamed of coming to the big city—drawn by the bright lights, the cultural diversity, and most of all, the food.Ten years ago, she made that dream a reality by relocating to the DMV area. Before returning to her roots in hospitality, she built a successful career in financial sales with several major banking institutions. But it was her passion for food, people, and service that ultimately brought her back to where she truly belongs.
Her journey began at National Harbor, MD, where she served as General Manager for the acclaimed Knead Hospitality + Design group. She then took on the role of leading F&B Operations at the Museum of the Bible, overseeing a 500,000-square-foot facility with precision and care. Most recently, she thrived as a multi-unit Assistant General Manager at Scale Hospitality, managing three distinct restaurant concepts within a hotel under the leadership of Chef Matt Crowley.
When the opportunity arose to join the team at MINA Group’s newest concept, she knew she had found something special. Inspired by Chef Michael Mina’s philosophy of hospitality—not just for guests, but for the team—she felt aligned with a mission that puts people first.
For Brandy, her true claim to fame is the people. She believes in a world where hospitality means making everyone feel at home, seen, and valued. Culture is what she brings—fostering a space where teams thrive, guests return, and service is delivered with heart. She lives by the belief that when you truly love what you do every day, that joy radiates through every detail of the experience.
With that spirit, and a dedication to excellence, she continues to lead with warmth, purpose, and vision. For her, the sky is the limit.
