Alex Lopez

Executive Chef – Outlet Culinary Leadership

Alex graduated from the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco in 2008 and built his early career working alongside Chef Stuart Brioza, at Cowgirl Creamery, Boulevard, and as a fishmonger. After relocating to Las Vegas, he spent 12 years at é by José Andrés before moving into Executive Chef roles at Julian Serrano, Cathedral at ARIA, and most recently BOA Steakhouse.

Outside of work, Alex was recently married, is the proud father of two children, Tristan and Ophelia, and enjoys snowboarding.

Alex brings a strong understanding of the Las Vegas market, deep fine-dining experience, and a thoughtful approach to leadership and hospitality. We’re incredibly excited to have him as part of the MINA team and look forward to the impact he’ll have in driving Michael Mina at Bellagio forward.
