Jose Gonzalez
Director of Operations – Corporate OperationsJosé C Gonzalez was appointed Director of Operations for the Mina Group in 2022 after working 14 years with Chef Mina. His journey started shortly after graduating from Florida International University. After FIU, he transferred from Four Seasons Miami to Four Seasons Washington DC to be part of the opening team at Bourbon Steak DC as a Manager in Training and later, Assistant Manager.
After Bourbon Steak DC, José went to Four Seasons Baltimore to open PABU Izakaya. He went on to become the General Manager of Wit & Wisdom. After three years in Charm City, he went to Four Season Jackson Hole where he was GM of The Handle Bar. Jose has worked a combined 11 years managing Mina Group restaurants within Four Seasons hotels.
In 2017, he moved to Chicago where he opened up Margeaux Brasserie and Petit Margeaux for the Mina Group at the Waldorf Astoria. His career came full circle in 2020 when he became the General Manager of Bourbon Steak back in our Nation’s Capital.
In his current role he supports Mina Group restaurants that are partnered with other hospitality enterprises such as Four Seasons, MGM, Fontainebleau, Fairmont, Hilton, and more.
Jose’s love for hospitality began in Puerto Rico when his family would host and cook for friends any chance there was. He developed an appreciation for restaurants, hotels, and travel while moving throughout the country due to his mother serving in the United States Army.
José is supported by his wife, Paige, and their four sons, Isaac, Rafael, Antonio, and Javier Jose.
