Executive Chef - Restaurant Excellence Team – Corporate Culinary OperationsJustine serves as Executive Chef on Mina Group’s Restaurant Excellence Team, where he drives culinary standards, operational consistency, and team development across the group’s portfolio. Based in Portland, he combines deep culinary expertise with a proven track record of operational leadership to elevate both guest experience and kitchen performance.
With more than a decade of experience, Justin has held leadership roles across the hospitality industry, including Consulting Director of Culinary Operations at More Fun Tomorrow, Director of Culinary Operations at Submarine Hospitality, and Restaurant Director with Shashi Hospitality Group. Earlier in his career, he served as Chef de Cuisine at The Hoxton and Trestle, and as Sous Chef at Portland favorites La Neta, Arden, and Coquine. He began his journey in San Francisco, cooking at Stones Throw and Michael Mina restaurants.
Specializing in new restaurant openings, training, operations implementation, and financial analysis, Justin brings a unique balance of creativity and systems-driven leadership. His role at Mina Group focuses on ensuring excellence across all kitchens, mentoring chefs, and executing the company’s vision of world-class hospitality.
